Huia, Brut Rosé 2018

Huia is built on the belief that a natural approach to winemaking produces the best tasting wine. Calling Marlborough, New Zealand, home, their focus is to become more and more in tune with the total environment of the vineyards. They believe that working in harmony with the entire countryside provides balance and longevity to their wines; so sheep and chickens wander through the vines, bees pollinate all the wildflowers, and olive trees are planted on the borders of the vineyards too. Brut Rosé 2018 is a stunning traditional method sparkling wine made from 100% Pinot Noir. The grapes were harvested and aged for 31 months on lees prior to release. Bright, fresh, and seriously charming! This bubbly, made from 100% Pinot Noir, pours a gorgeous copper-pink in the glass. On the nose, it’s all about summer vibes – juicy strawberries, cherries, and a soft hint of fresh-baked brioche. Take a sip, and you get those same bright berry flavours, but with a crisp, dry edge that keeps it super refreshing. There’s a creamy texture from all that time on the lees, but it finishes clean and vibrant.
